I just bought this battery a few weeks ago. The battery charged fine, but very often (not every time) when I unplug the laptop, the laptop crashes. But as long as the laptop is plugged into the outlet, it is super. I assume the battery is not holding the charge.

This cord did the trick but has a manufacturing flaw. On both ends of the thicker cord which plugs into the wall, the shielding has pulled away from the ends exposing the wires. I have had to wrap each end up with electricians tape. The cause of this seems to be pulling the cord a bit too far. While other cords I have handle this well, this particular cord did not.

This charger didn't fit as is. I had to cut away some of the rubber surrounding the part you plug into the laptop so it would be long enough to fit into my laptop. After that it did charge my laptop but it doesn't click into place so if the cord is touched it stops charging or simple falls out. It's a huge pain.

Yes this is much less expensive than the stock item, but what they do not tell you about this aftermarket item is that the output voltage may match your computer's requirement, but there are differences. This charger fried my mother board and that is due to minor milliamp differences. So yes I saved money on this charger, but after the repairs needed on my computer, it is hardly worth it. So buy the correct charger from the manufacturer.

I had this product for about two weeks before it stopped working. The battery box gets extremely hot (more than normal) and it then stopped charging my computer. There is something wrong with the cord that connects the battery into the power source/electrical outlet. I switched the cord with an extra from my previous charger and now it is working fine. A product should be free of faults for much more than 2 weeks.

The product arrived quickly. Packaging was a joke - the battery was sort of taped to some bubble wrap and tossed in a box. It arrived unharmed, though. There are no brand markings whatsoever, so no way to know what I have. I bought this because the OEM battery barely operates for more than 30 minutes and a similar replacement battery is completely dead. This battery seems to keep my notebook running for a couple of hours at least. I have not tried it for any extended use.

Got it like 2 days after ordering(great!). Gave it 2 recharge cycles and got 3:50hr while beating it up(updates, virus scan, LCD on, WiFi on). Couldn't be happier!

The old stock HP batt got less than 1hr. It does stick out from the bottom and raises the rear of the laptop up bout 3/4" but to me, well worth it to get 4hrs of normal usage from a real laptop.

Well I took it in and its the motherboard, I notified seller that it wasn't my battery and don't need the new one after all and they agreed to give me my money back.
