I had to replace my OEM power supply as it was not able to power well anymore. This replacement unit is the same size and power connections as the original. It doesn't seem to heat up as much as the old one did. What else can you say about a switching power supply, it works, stays cool, is quiet.

I've had this for several weeks now. My original charger stopped working consistently (at first I thought it was a bad connection with the plug into the computer). Then I realized that my original charger only worked some of the time. While this new unit does run a little warm at times, so did the old one. I haven't had a problem charging over extended computing times. As with my computer, sometimes it's best to make sure you put it laying flat on a solid surface so the heat gets transferred away. I'd buy this over an off brand as an original part.

The plug from the original charger became separated from the cord in short order. This replacement was a great price, runs cooler, and was shipped and received within just a few days. Couldn't ask for more!
