Well I would give a different star level but I was sent a defective battery. So I feel in all honisty I cant rate the product to its fullest. I was not happy at the fact it did not work. But as we all know that happens. But I was happy on how prompt Amazon was to getting me refunded. I would attempt to buy this again one day I cant judge it off a first time buy.

It worked fine at first, and then I saw that it was not taking a charge. Now my computer is dead again. They make it such a hassle to return these things, that I am about to give up.

I purchased the Expert Laptop Battery thinking it was an exact replacement. However, once I installed it in the HP laptop I learned that it doesn't exactly match the original battery. The original had a raised bar on the bottom of the battery that allowed the laptop to sit flush on a flat surface. This one lacks that raised bar and thus does not allow for a true flush fit. Other than that, it seems to be a good battery for the price, and it certainly beats having to keep the laptop plugged in all the time, as we did before. Good price, rapid shipping and an item that works are all major pluses. I would give it four stars for everything but form fit.

Not much to say really. It worked. Appearently this battery is useable by other laptops but you have to have the right bottom piece to go with it. THe only reason I say this is my bottom piece (had a foot for the laptop) came unassembled from the battery. It was easy to put on, just make sure you have the right orientation for the battery and snap it on. I tried to see if it would come loose but it is on there pretty solid. Hopefully this one wil last longer than the stock battery that came from HP.

My Hp now has a battery I can count on. My old battery would only run my computer for abour 10 minutes. My new batter is great.
